For my first movie review, I’ve decided to go with my favorite movie, Jurassic Park.
This movie, directed by Steven Spielberg, was released on June 11, 1993. Starring Jeff Goldblum (Ian Malcolm), Laura Dern (Ellie Sattler), Sam Neill (Alan Grant), and Richard Attenborough (John Hammond). This movie is the first of the three Jurassic Park films and the prequel to the Jurassic World films.
Jurassic Park is my favorite movie of all time. It was also the first movie I saw as a kid. With that aside, I’m going to try and be biased for this review… maybe. The first thing you need to know about Jurassic Park is this movie features a couple gruesome scenes, but it isn’t too bad because they provided us with some well-known phrases a lot of people use today. For example, in the movie, Jeff Goldblum’s character says, “When you gotta go, you gotta go.” Then he and Sam Neill head into the climax of the story, but I won’t spoil it in case no one has seen it yet. Steven Speilberg must’ve put a lot of thought into the production of this film. Using animatronic dinosaurs and a script which captivated audiences, and continues to captivate audiences globally. Now for some specifics. The movie has a runtime of two hours and seven minutes. It falls into several movie genres. It is considered to be an Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Mystery, and Thriller.
